Air pump for Windows and central locking?

The air pump in the boot filled with water and stopped working, will any b5 one work or are there numbers i need to match up?

match the part number for minimal hassle.

Theres are some that interchange but many that wont.

mines is due on the 24th but I probably wont get time between now and then so it might need to sit in the drive until we come back from blackpool at the end of the month

Cool, it's nice to work on a car where there isn't rust hiding in every corner
