towing with an S3.

Can you tow other cars on trailors with the s3 ?. Im thinking of buying a mk3 vr6 and turbo kit to take to track days . Just wondering if they will take this sort of weight ok ?.

it'll take the weight no problem, for years I used my Mums A3 tdi 8l for towing my track car around, I've towed an A3 behind the A3 before too without problems, although I'm not entirely sure that's legal!

I had to use my S3 to tow a B5 Passat TDI in the rain once, no problems at all, but didn't go over 40mph, as the Passat had no servo assisted brakes!

its all good providing the trailer has overrun brakes. Although I have always been told never to tow anything more than 3/4's of the weight of the towing vehicle, else you will find you will get the wobbles, which isnt very nice.
