4 beeps

Hey guys hope someone can help,
Have an 2001 S3 which I fitted a new battery a couple of months ago since then the alarm beeps 4 times on start up at least once a week.
Phoned Audi and they reckon the siren needs replacing which I"m not too sure about.

Any ideas guys??

Do a search its common issue, also get a vagcom scan
