Looks good but the thing holding the car back will be the dsg. Clutch slips on mine especially when launching so until theres a dsg map pointless going stage 2 imo.
Maybe, but mine whas limited because of lack of air / compression.
The APR intake is not sufficient to provide more air and the restricion is in the connection to the turbo.
APR uses the same connection as the original, that one needs to be bigger with a nicer bend in the end.

I've done many launches in mine and know of many others through Santa pod meets etc. I think your friends must have been confused.I am only saying what the guy at work who bought a Golf R and the other bloke who was in the car with him has told me that the car flashed up on the DIS regarding warranty after three launches. Whether its **** or not I dunno as I wasn't there, but I can't see them making that up!
And was there not also a warranty rejection issue with the early Nissan GT-Rs for a similar thing??
I agree I can't see anything in the manual or the point of having launch control if you can't use it. And the Audi manual actually states that the gearbox will disable launch control if it gets too hot so that implies you "should" be ok. But has anyone read, word for word, whatever warranty documentation came with the car?!
Yes mate! Good stuff. Sounds a beautycan anyone see my YouTube vids ?

How did you get these figures from VCDS?
I have put a bit more meat on the bones in my previous post, should clear things up. Ideally you want someone in the passenger seat pressing the buttons, otherwise make sure the laptop is strapped down with a seat belt and keep your eyes on the road if you don't have a private test track. Thanks, will give this a shot tomorrow
Looks like you are having similar launching issues to RobH.
Rogier140 - Your Vmax run is very similar to what I got, 169mph!
No proper DSG software is available yet and not sure how much it can handle tbh. Main problem is when launching (see second video above) it slips then bogs down in first. Even with this im still clocking 3.9/4.0 to 60 timed with a vbox.
Most people run a dtuk box and there not massively torquey so don't seem to have these issues, although with a few successive launches my mate in his golf r had a clutchpack overheat fault with vcds.
A dsg map is required to get full potential from stage 2 definitely. Stage 1 should be fine, after all stage 1 is designed for an over wise standard car.
