Votex kit fitting

Hi Guys,

I have my votex kit ready to be painted and fitted, does anyone have any hints and tips for the fitting of the kit?

I believe it is bonded on top of the existing bumper lowers and sideskirts but are there any mods I need to do to them first?

Also am I right in assuming the lower grilles in the standard front bumper need removing before the votex lower is fitted?

Any pointers appreciated.

It's not an easy kit to get hold of unless you want to pay dealer prices. I was lucky enough to get hold of the bits one by one from ebay over several months of searching. There is also a patent copy (in plastic) available from Autobahn http://autobahnstyling.com/product_detail.asp?prodID=20

i used this web site for doing what you doing apart from i just taken my standard bumper front and back off so it can be sprayed. it gives you a clue.

when you get the bumper off (front or back) it takes some strength to take the lower section off the bumper but they very strong so dont worry about giving it some force.

you need to undo 2bolts at the front bumper that connects it to the slam pannel now that taken me 1 hour to sus it out but you will be able to do it, oh and it takes some time to find the bolts but the 3rd pic on the wright up tels you and points them out
