Reg number check

does anybody know where i can put a reg number in on the net and it tells me the car details free ?

I did used to have a link to a site that did that but they took the facility off there!

If you go to www.hpicheck.com and type in the reg it will give you a Make & Model before you need to pay anything just to make sure the reg fits the vehicle you are looking for.

You could also use ASKMID on your own vehicle, which returns if it's insured/not on the MID and the make/model - here: http://www.askmid.com/ownvehicle/

The best place to go is www.eurocarparts.com, once you've entered the reg, click on any of the parts from the bottom and it will tell you a lot!

You can get a free car id check which will include make model and derivative but you cant get a full check for free. I just bought a new car and the best deal i found was from Experian car check and it was £5 for a car check when bought as a multi check.
