91 80 Coupe rear screen switch issue

My mum in law owns a J plate 80 coupe, (petrol , auto).
She has just came back from having it serviced and has been told to leave her rear screen heater switch permanantly on. The swtich has a fault where it needs to be pushed several times before it actually works.
I am under the impression myself that leaving it on all the time will make no difference as its on a timer anyway and will reset itself next time you use the car.
Anyway, the question is, how hard are these to change, can you change just the one switch or is it a bank of them?
Bear in mind I have only been in it once years ago and have no idea what the dash looks like.
And if there is anyone in Kent who fancies doing it....

Just get another switch from breakers or audibits2 off ebay wont cost must easy job to replace just pops off plug from rear
