Milltek resonated or non resonated?

Decided I'm going probably going to go for a Milltek and seen the 2 types listed. I'm assuming one will be louder, which is which and how extreme are we talking?

the non res isn't much louder than the standard! I was quite supprised when i heard it! maybe diffrent when it is a turbo back rather than cat back tho!

Well I'm going for a cat back, that thread seems to be talking about the S3 though and people comment that it's a lot more boomy on a 1.8 T?
