maf part number

just wondering if anyone new the part number for the MAF sensor off hand. i cant check the car right now but wanted to order one.

its an s reg (98) s4

078906461B or 078906461BX by the looks of it.

X is the exchange part number.

which connector do you have? most are bosch but some have the hitachi connector on them, not sure which they are though, i had a new maf last month and mine was different as my car is close to being a 2001 model so the one inthe book was different to one that was on my car

If his is a '98 then it will have a bosch MAF according to that, and that was the only part number listed in vagcat under '98 S4.
