emission light on 2002 s3

hi, just bought a s3 yesterday, after driving it back home for 2 hours the warning time flashed up saying 2hours, this turned out to be computer telling me to have a 10 min break, but at the same time the emission light came on and has'nt gone out since, the car is driving fine and everything seems to be ok. Does any know what this could be . Cheers

Hi mate, best bet is to get the car on VAGCOM and see if it brings up any errors....

cheers, got it sorted, it was 1 of the spark plugs.

haha that answers one of my questions had the 2hour thing pop up on my S3 too and wondered what it was the joy of a new car finding out all the new stuff good and bad.
