A3 TDi DPF / ESP Error Non Starter??? HELP

Hi,

I picked up my A3 TDi 170 DSG on Saturday and have been in love ever since!

UNTIL THIS AFTERNOON!!!

Went to start the car as usual and all it would do is TICK, TICK, TICK, TICK!

Then DPF icon came on followed by ESP icon?

Thought could be battery but no luck.
There is no engine turn, no attempt to fire just a really annoying electric TICK, TICK, TICK!

HELP..................................

Car is stuck at work and I cant drive her at all!

Any ideas?

Turns out it was the battery causing all the christmas light effects on the dash!

AMAZING!!
