The digital temperature on the dash said that it was 39 Degrees C, i was in surrey and i know it was not that hot?

I know these cant be 100% accurate, but come on...

Anyone know what the prob could be? ALSO

Does anyone know where the sensor for this is? i might try and clean it?

Thanks in advance

Adam

Well mate, it could have been. Your car is dark, and sat in the sun will get ****** hot! The sensor is behind the bumper under the passenger side headlight unit. When you drive it for a few mins it will drop dramatically!
