I just wanted to shout out to the world that Ive quit the dreaded tabacco! Its been a full 12 months (for life insurance policies thats the time frame to be a non smoker) and I feel great.

I would reccomend it to anyone and aside from will power I used a really wierd gadget which you have all probably seen and laughed at - but it did work!

Quit today and we can stop giving our money to the government who then wont have any money to give the banks!!!!!

Well done to you Strider81! :applaus:
what a tough one to combat! hats off to you:hi:

Well done mate... you were obviously ready, you really do have to want to quit dont you, i did the same about 20 months ago....i wouldn't say i can taste my food any better or even feel much different i don't know about yourself, but its 100% true that it really isn't any good for you.....Must admit sometimes i smell a cigarette and get the little urge, i dont think that will ever change...

Congratulations and well done again !!!!:applaus::respekt:

Well done.

I had my last one on the morning of my wedding 9 years ago, having smoked for the best part of 12 years.

Never looked back, and now focus on the gym instead. Can now do a 10k row in <37 mins, and a 10k run in 45 mins.

Food tastes so much better, and you have much more money to spend on toys and petrol!!

Cheers,

yeh, all that spare money! what will you be spending it on?

Well done dude :)

I know a few mates who have had hypnosis to stop them smoking and it worked straight away, however know others that it didnt work on.

Either way, good on ya!!

I smoked for about a month and never enjoyed it, still have the odd one or two with mates if they offer just to socialise, but still not a keen smoker. My other half quit about 6 months ago after years of nagging, she was never a heavy smoker and she didn't smoke one during her pregnancy, but she finally gave it all up, so I'm a happy chap. :)

So :respekt: to you Strider.

:applaus::applaus::applaus:Congratulations! Keep it up :applaus::applaus::applaus:
