Can this be fixed or do i need a new one?

Hi my front bumper has some damage shown in the pics. To me it looks minor.

However i took it to a garage who didnt seem to helpful but just said better getting a new bumper..

However im quite reluctant to as its pretty good condition and i dont want to pay £200+ (is this estamate correct?) for a new one + painted.

Could this one be fixed at a better cost? or possibly myself?

Everything is fixable, best to get some more quotes and advice mate...

Be sure you take it to a good place though, find out from people on here who have used good body shops near you as a bad job of that will stand out alot.
Fibre glass and filler will fix it, but im sure you can find another bumper for cheaper than 200 already sprayed or at least in primer on the bay.

Ta yeah i will look into getting more quotes. I have been looking on the bay and can easily get one for 60-70 in primer but i fear getting it sprayed will be quite costly... ta for the advice

Could be fixed.
Just have to work out will the labour to repair, costs more than a new one.

As said, balance the cost of the repair to a new one, or new second hand one.
