We had been discussing replacing SWMBOs car for a few months; Should we get another 156 - maybe a sportwagon? Perhaps a BMW 5er? Or - always her first choice, upgrade to an A6?
Well, after much deliberation and the sudden death of her A4 this morning we went to view a 2000 'W' A6 Avant 1.8T in Silver.
Full Audi Service History, 96,000 on the clock, all the usual goodies, for the princely sum of £2950 from a local dealer. Can't be bad!
Best part is, it is SWMBOs birthday next month, so I now don't have to buy her anything else- I mean, its not like she'll be spending 3k for my birthday is it!!!
We should pick it up on Thursday when its all clean and tidy- can't wait!!!
