boost leaks?

i have the apr software on my otherwise stock 2001 s4. it seems to make a little squeeling or hissing sound under boost and sometimes howls at cruising speed. is this boost leakage? what divertors should i run and how should i address this issue? seems to kinda jerk around sometimes as well

howl could be signs of turbo faliure ,as for divertors oem 710N divertors are just as good as any after market and cheaper too. Do a full vag com scan and also a proper pressure test along with a visual check of all visable hoses , pull off bottom intercooler hoses and look for large pools of oil pouring out. hope this helps

Squealing will probably be the turbos overspinning due to a leak.

As Andy says, get a pressure test done.

My blown diverter valve did make a bit of a squeek under full boost sometimes cos of air leaking past the diaphragm.
