a4 1.8t quattro gearchange

Hi, I'm a newbie to this forum(which I think is great) hope someone can help,when changing from 1st to 2nd I can feel resistance on the gear lever and a definate clunk as it engages, the clutch seems to be ok, the car has done 32,000 miles, is this normal or should I get it checked?

mine is the same, but it stops after a couple of changes i have the 6 speed box

Its normal mate my old S3 and my A4 does it! Mine does it every time i change from first to second thou!
