1999 1.8 T Sport Quattro front fogs?

As per my other thread, I'm looking at getting an A3 1.8 TSQ. I know that from pics the car I'm looking at getting doesn't have front fogs! Can the S3 lower bumper insert (with fogs) be retro fitted? Sorry, new to Audi's so forgive my lack knowledge

Here is the link if you plan to upgrade to a post-facelift A3 with foglights..I am very happy with it, and have an extra set of fogs in the headlights...!!

Very shiney, mine looks like it has a matt finish with the inch thick crust of salt! Roll on Friday for it's weekly clean!

A wee drop of TLC and Autoglym every weekend or so is the way to go...IMO. lol

This is what confused me initialy as the owner says it does have front foglights. How do fog lights built into the main headlights work? Surely the theory behind fog lights is that they are located lower to avoid glare from the the fog

The fog lights are intergrated into the high beam. Essentially, there are three lights. Dipped which is an H4 bulb, and a highbeam/fog light which is an H7 (I think). The light projected is similar if not the same as fog's lower down....
