Door open warning

on my '99 1.9TDI SE saloon (facelift) the door open display on the dash only seems to work for the bootlid; but has never worked on the other 4 doors.

is this likly to be a setting or somthing as its effecting all 4 doors?

I have exact same on my s4avant

never warned if door open since i bought it

Hmm, the haynes tells you where to find the relays, but not which one does what! anyone got a diagram showing this?

sun and kath; does it have the computer? and does it tell you if the boots open?

yeah, boot open warning shows on display, but door open never has

I have just had my boot open warning light come on, interior boot lights not coming on when i open the boot, dont get double flash when locking car on fob boot shuts,locks,opens all okay. any ideas what the problem is?
