Annoyin vibration from parcel shelf

Aye,
Cos the speaker / sub is in there (standard saloon), Ive got an annoying vbration when my stereo is on. Anyone managed to overcome this?? I was thinking of stuffing it from underneath/between the shelf and body with some old socks or dusters!

That's exactly what I did on my B5, worked a treat.
