Morning all.

I have just had timing belt / water pump changed on my 2018 2.0tdi. When I am driving round the doors no issues at all. As soon as I drive down an A road/motorway the coolant temp rises into the red and I get the warning sign on the dash to pull over and let the car idle, likewise if I put the heaters on full blast hot, that also lowers the coolant temp! I am assuming there is air in the system ‍♂️
I have read on the forum that a bleed process should be performed via vcds? Anyone else had this issue and resolved it that way?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So. Did the coolant bleed via vcds today and still have the same issue of overheating when on a long run. Garage is going to use a vacuum to fill coolant to see if that works. Could it be a faulty water pump perhaps?
