Hi all,
First time Audi owner here. Picked up a 2007 Q7 and it has started making a whining noise when i turn the steering wheel, it happens both stationary and when running but is less pronounced the faster the car is going.
I’ve done a bit of a Google and seems the two options are either the power steering pump or the alternator tensioner.
Just looking for a bit of advice if possible to help me rule out one or the other.
If I was to describe the sound it is like a bus accelerating.
