Can you replace seal on rear lights?

Hi guys hoping someone can help me out, I’m gettin water into both my back rear lights and have been told I need them replaced. Am I able to just replace the seal around them and dry it out? I’ve a 2016 a3.

yeah it's an easy disconnect and bolt off job., just need to buy the light seal

ps it's not the lens causing the problem(unless it's cracked) but the foam seal on the back of the housing
