Bonnet Switch Problem.

Morning Guys,

Bonnet switch has decided to go faulty, so fooling alarm and wipers that the bonnet is up, just about to order a new one, I have read you can short the wires to fool it, but can you use VCDS or OBDEleven to set the switch to closed to save shorting pins or chopping wires for the time been ?

Actually it looks if you just unplug it, does the same Job.
