Hi,

Quick one, my oil cap is dry? Is this normal? I can see the camshafts when I look so I'm expecting the cap to be wet.

Thank you.

Probably need a bit more context? When did you check the oil cap? Like after 6 months sitting in the garage or 20 minutes after driving to the seaside? You can run the engine with the cap off.. if you have low oil pressure or low oil level pretty sure you'll get an alarm on the DIS..

Thanks for the reply Stuart.

A little while after a drive, 30 min or so after. Reason I ask is: I've got a little bit of a vibrate at idle and the engine is now a bit "loud", it sits nicely at 800rpm, no codes. I'm just exploring options really mate, thinking pcv, oil pressure low etc...

Last oil change 100 miles ago.

Power is still there just sounds a bit off. (It's hard to explain really)
