New here but need a little advice on a garage I think tried/duped my dad a little.
My dad has a 2015 Audi S8 on 113k miles he’s owned it since it was 3 years old and covered around 80k miles in it since.
It’s had an EML light on for a little while plugged it into my diagnostic and it showed bank sensor 1 too lean and multiple other bank sensor issues I’ll see if I can dig out the codes I was using an icarsoft pro if that helps.
Anyway it went into a specialist and I think they replaced coolers, spark plugs, coil packs to no avail they then decided to take off the sump pan no idea why but now it’s absolutely ******* out oil approx a litre a week now. They kept listing off issues that it could be rather than addressing what the actual codes were saying am I missing something here?
It’s since gone into another garage and they’ve identified the secondary air pump has failed which seems to make more sense to me.
Has that other garage tried to take my dad for a ride?
