Hi is it possible to replace the rear upper control arms without lowering the subframe?

How difficult is it to drop the subframe and can it ruin suspension geometry if you don't re-align it properly? I'll be doing it on a driveway under axle stands so could be a nightmare. Thanks.

Any suspension, subframe work will require a geometry check tbh, best to gauge after the works done if the cars running as required, but it's usually a given it will be needed tbh.

The plan is to replace the arms then get tracking/alignment done straight after. But is the job even possible without lowering subframe?
