My 2010 S4 Avant 6MT is now upgraded to 470bhp, 430lb ft. Work done last December was upgrade top SC pulley, resonator delete, air intake kit and custom dyno RR 99 RON remap - giving me figures mentioned. I did all work apart from RR remap which was at Unicorn.
All in all after 17 months of ownership, the car still brings a smile to my face and that's the main thing!
In my ownership time i've done an extra oil service and upgraded front discs/pads (brembos) myself and yearly service at audi specialists and had no other issues (car on 117K now), apart from the odd oil topup. No codes, no errors, not even a bulb to change.....not gonna mention fuel costs but i'm at 25MPG average over last 10K, can do over 30MPG but can also do single figures....!
However, the clutch has started slipping recently, not surprised as current standard clutch has done 60K miles (last 10K with much more power and torque). It's still very drivable and i'm currently only doing 30-50 miles a week max due to more home working, only slips if i drop 2 gears and floor it or launch from 3K or higher (which I don't do).
Was thinking of doing clutch on axle stands in garage but i've seen a few videos and it's a no-go from on your back, looks like one of the more awkward clutches to do.....soooo I need a specialist to do the work, anyone recommended in the Rossendale/Lancs/Manchester/North-West area - looking for someone that knows the S4 B8 clutches inside out. (But cheaper than main dealer ofc)!
I've been looking at Stage 2 clutches, anyone tried clutches from CG motorsports?
I also understand car is on original dual mass flywheel so will be changing that too.
Looking for any recommendations ta!
Dave
