I’ve done some research before posting and couldn’t find the answers I’m looking for. I’ll speak with a garage likely also due to the safety concerns.

I’ve not long owned my S3 8P 2011, which came with BBS CH-R alloys. I believe they are reps going on the larger centre cap and font.

I was a bit paranoid the person before hadn’t used the correct wheel bolts, upon investigation, the bolts look to have a radius head however the hole does also appear to be suited for radius , it is hard to tell, surprising as aware aftermarket is normally tapered.

I also notice the wheels only tighten around 5 and a quarter times (full rotation) before full tightening, and also aware is should be around 7/8 +.

I’ve attached Photos, as my question is, do these look radius or tapered fit? And assume I will need longer bolts, m14 1.5 and a good bit higher than the standard 27mm thread? Maybe 43 to be safe?

Many thanks

Its hard to say from the pics the bolts look like tapered to me, I had the wrong bolts fitted for a while and the wheel wobble at 70+ was shocking
