Hi everyone.I’ve got a 2014 3.0tdi Quattro s tronic black edition with 68,000 miles on.
Around a month ago I had a gearbox malfunction warning appear on my car one night after setting off from the work car park. The car got stuck in D2 and would not change gear, even in manual mode. I turned it on and off again and it was fine.
it’s now been fine ever since then and has not reappeared.
I had the fault codes read as U102600- transmission control check DTC memory.
P284E00- shift fork B I requested movement.
01315 - Transmission control module (TCM)

the codes were wiped the day after they appeared and have not come back since.

further info -
The car shifts perfectly fine and there are no issues.
it’s apparently had a gearbox service 4,000 miles ago
It’s booked into a garage to get the dual mass flywheel looked at because it’s loud and making noise.
The gearbox light came on after a cold start and I drove the car to an electric gate and stop start activated, I then put the car into R to reverse, and then back into D after in a very short time.
Any thoughts on what this could be please ?

I had a panic recently when I thought my gearbox was on it's way out, luckily it's not however I found a company called Milta Technology in Bristol who have amazing reviews and only deal with DSG VAG type gearboxes and clutches, maybe give them a call.. they're very helpful and happy to discuss issues on the phone.
