Hi, I’ve had my A5 for only 3 months. 76k on the clock now, everything’s been great except about month in, the front drivers side (Uk RHD) has started making a pop when going onto a slight incline with uneven road at low speed (5-10 MPH). It feels like it’s coming from underneath the pedals.

First garage I took it to couldn’t find anything wrong and tightened some bolts, but made no difference.
Just took it to my regular Audi specialist garage and they think it’s the shocks, as one is showing a little oil (looks like just a bit of weeping to me), and the travel is around 3cm on that side compared to the other side. There aren’t any other symptoms of had shocks though.
Anyone have any recommendations for someone in or near to london who is good at finding the source of these suspension pops, and fixing them?
Can’t afford to be going the trial and error route replacing parts that don’t fix

Thanks

Ryan

Tbh even weeping is a sign of replacement & would be an mot failure, so that will need changing anyway, you can't really get a definitive answer without changing things as there's a number of things that can cause it, shock, spring, subframe, links, mounts, bushes.

I'd do the shock & any top mounts for that side to discount as that's a job to actually be done

Thanks guys
Also that garage happens to be 5 minutes away from where I live.
