hello I know this is a lot to read but any help is appreciated. so I've just bought a 2009 audi a3 black edition which has been having this issue with the central locking. I have read forums etc and got some idea with what's going on but I'm still struggling and need some help on what specifically to check on the car for this fault.
please note previous owner claimed that all doors, locks and key started working perfectly in the summer when it was very hot.
currently the lock button on the key works every time, the unlock button doesn't work 80% of the time. however when it does work it will work consistently until it decides to stop working all together I have only owned the car for 2 weeks and basically the unlock button worked for about 2 days when it started snowing. sounds daft but I suspect snowy weather may have reduced the overall moisture in the air....
when the unlock button worked passenger door would unlock properly. drivers door made a noise but didn't unlock with the handle (I had to manually put key in. rear left + right door made a noise but don't open.
boot/trunk works fine with boot button on key and interior unlock button.
when ignition is on. drivers door unlock/lock button works for passenger door, rear left door made a tiny noise and rear right door made a feeble noise but louder than left door.
after repeatably unlocking and locking the car I manage to get the rear right door to open with interior handle but no luck with the left.
I suspect the car has a central locking wiring issue and also the lock actuators might be stuck.
I have checked the front door wiring harnesses. The passenger harness looks perfect condition. the drivers door non of the wires were snapped however the insulation on 2 wires had opened up exposing the copper but wires are still intact and not corroded. There was also a small amount of blue corrosion on a few pins where the connector to the car is but to me didn't look severe enough to cause to be the culprit of this issue.
I've been having codes stating thermal protection for rear doors so I unbolted the lock actuator on RR and sprayed silicon grease into the lock mechanism hoping it unlock more freely. but had no luck.
rear interior door handles feel like they have barely any resistance either.
I also removed the comfort module and dried it out at home even though the circuit board looked undamaged and dry but had no luck
I also used electrical cleaner and removed most the corrosion from the pins on drivers door harness.
I haven't been able to check the rear door harness connectors due to the fact I now cant get either door to open now.

I purchased wiring diagrams for the central locking but struggling to make sense of it all.
am I correct in that every door module connects to the canbus and then the comfort module connects to canbus or do the door modules wire up to the comfort module which then connects to the canbus?
specifically what modules could be faulty?
i read that the drivers door module can cause issues to central locking but how would i confirm that it needs replacing?

I purchased wiring diagrams for the central locking but struggling to make sense of it all.
am I correct in that every door module connects to the canbus and then the comfort module connects to canbus or do the door modules wire up to the comfort module which then connects to the canbus?
specifically what modules could be faulty?
i read that the drivers door module can cause issues to central locking but how would i confirm that it needs replacing?
any help is appreciated, I'm not a professional at fixing cars but a simple DIYer so apologies if i seem confusing.
