B9.5 S4 New owner. Question on the steering wheel * button

Hi guys

I recently picked up a rather lovely B9.5 S4 TDi.
I had a B8 S4 Avant for a few months, which was an awesome car, but I wanted to get back into something more modern with a diesel engine.

One small frustration I have is the options for the * button on the steering wheel.
When I hold the button down to program it I do not get the option to set the drive select as the shortcut.

This means I have to lean across to the drive select button, which is small and positioned quite far from the wheel.

Does anyone know if this can be programmed as the shortcut on the * button on the B9.5?

Seems it was the most popular use for the button on the B9.

Any help or advice greatly appreciated as always.

Not an option on the B9.5. Go to the Home Screen on the MMI, select the Car tile then select Settings on the bottom right hand side of the screen. The steering button options is the first option in the menu.

The short cut buttons in BMW's are a much better solution I think... Oh well!
