Anyone know why the S-Tronic DSG gearbox takes a awful while to switch to the third gear? When cruising in D, it takes a good while from second to third, as a result the rpm is really high, and makes you sound like a right **** to others.

Just wondering if this is normal for dsg boxes?

Cheers

For me, on normal or low accelaration gearbox will shift just under 2k rpm. Id say if its going way above 2k to shift on a low/normal acceleration, try reseting the adaptions and see where it takes you.

Thanks, how do I go abouts resetting the adaptions?

Carried out the adaptation reset, and the gears seem to be more responsive from 2-3, but 3-4 seems to take a while now. Any ideas, or is it still learning?
