Morning everyone,
My 67 plate 1.5 TFSI CoD has just reached five years of age and this week has had an oil change service (using a service plan I purchased two years ago), brake fluid change and MOT all undertaken by my local Audi main dealer.
Even though the car is now five years old I’m considering taking out an Audi All-in plan (includes two services, two years’ warranty, two MOT tests and two years’ roadside assistance). Upfront cost is £720 but last year in November there was an Audi promotion offering a 25% discount. I’m prepared to wait until this November to see if there is a repeat offer (£540 seems ‘reasonably’ good value to me).
The only potential sticking point is the cambelt change is also due. The car has only covered 24,600 miles in it’s five years. When I asked at the dealers on Monday I was told that whoever administers the warranty would decide if it definitely needed doing as pre-requirement of covering the car. (I was quoted £750 for the belt change by Audi).
Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Did Audi insist on the belt being changed (and what your mileage at the time)?
Thanks in advance.
