Audi a3 8p sportback water leak

Hi all. I have looked in the search section and can't find the answer.
I have a 2005 plate audi a3 sportback 2.0 t quattro.
I have noticed water in my boot.
I have checked wiper motor and that's fine.
Checked the bungs on back bumper they are ok.

However I have felt the roof lining behind the back seat and its wet.
I stripped down the boot area and can't see anywhere it's coming from.

Any help would be appreciated.
Also its definitely rain water and not screen wash.
Also from reading other threads when people say its screen wash_ do you not have to have the stalk blade held to activate the pump. Surely if it not activated it dont just pump.out water

Maybe the gasket around the tailgate then?

Potentially mate, but I have inspected and all looks good i may justvreplace it for a new 1 as theybarounf 70 from the stealers! It's a tricky 1 this. I have seen Khalil or this forum had same issue I have messaged him but no response yet.
Also the post that he started was not replied to so not sure of he has resolved it.

Rear 3rd brake light? Also check all holes where water builds up and clear them out
