Evening all,

long time since I have posted on here but I have had the same issue with my S3 for 2 years and I am finally getting is sorted! I’ve had “intermittent/no signal steering angle sensor”. Absolutely no way I was ordering a new part from Audi as it was £420! So got one from Chris McDermott for those who know him.

Now my question is, I understand there is a few screws on the back of the steering wheel that you need to undo to get access to the sensor (once the batt has been disconnected!) but from there I don’t have a clue what to do.
Has any of you lot ever changed one before and if so, could you let me know what is needed to be done to do it successfully? Does it need to be calibrated afterwards? Is VAGCOM needed as I don’t have it only Carly.
If anyone has a guide I will be happy to tickle your pickle in return

thanks in advance.
