Hi new to the group.
I had issues with my original turbo at 100k was told it was sticky vanes throwing up warning lights and limp mode intermittent.
Replaced turbo with a cheap refurb. It lasted a week and started whining get louder by the day then broke down. The turbo had welded together like was solid.
Bought a second turbo this time the exact one from the oem. Kkk infact, checked oil feed pipe into turbo as oil starvation was blamed. Oil and filter was changed both times and getting a good quick flow in. My second turbo is still abit whiny at low speed in first gear but is fine through the rest of the gears. I don't want to give it a good run as I am scared this new turbo is going to die again.
There is no boost leak or vac leaks. Fresh oil and no blockage in oil feed. Turbo was fine no play or noise before fitted. We just left the actuator setting the way it came and didn't move the nuts.
Can anyone please offer an idea of what to do as I want to get it running and sold thanks
