do 2007 2.0 TDIs have DPFs?

My exhaust is emitting excessive smoke and some folk are telling me that it may be due to the Diesel Pasrticulate Filter but I'm not sure if my car actually has one.
Can anyone tell me please?
Car is an S-Line 2 litre TDi on a 57 plate.

I have a BMN code, Has a DPF fitted.
Every so often it does a regen cycle, from memory it is at 45% load.
Engine runs rough, I think there is a small amount of smoke but not much.
If you have VCDS / live near someone who does, 01 Engine, measuring blocks, then type 075 into the box and It will give the details. 070 is to see if it is doing a regen etc
