Osram canbus control unit

Since I'm going to be replacing the Xenon Bulbs, thought I'd upgrade the rest of the headlight bulbs while the bumper is off and the headlights out.

Looking at the Osram retrofit LED's.

Does anyone know if I'll need the canbus control unit for each set?

Why so? Replacement bulbs are incredible and any review I've ever saw about LED show them to produce less Lumins (less light).

Any link to said kit?

I'm using Morimoto Xenons and have been for a for years now, really first class bulbs and can't fault them for output/colour and reliability .

The Xenon's are staying, just new bulbs.

And the fogs with these:

The question is, does the Avant give a warning on the dash if there is a bulb out?
