Hi,
As a young lad I spent hours in the car forums and growing up with the car modifying scene. Nowadays the only important thing about a car is ‘can it fit a child’s seat and pushchair!’. Anyhow my point being, I know this is usually the best place to head when you need some knowledge about a car, so I’m hoping someone can help.
I own an 2010 Audi A3 1.6 Petrol 5dr sportback, the parcel shelf had a shade built in but this broke and left us with two holes in the shelf which doesn’t bother me in the slightest, the wife however will not let it go. So having put her off replacing it for several months I finally gave in and purchased a 2nd hand one from what I was told was a 2010 Audi A31.6 petrol 3dr. Long story short, it doesn’t fit my car, I’m outta pocket and would like to sell it on.
I’m struggling to sell it though as I’m not sure it’s actually from a 2010 3dr. One poor buyer arrived, tried it in his car, didn’t fit, wasted drive for him. I don’t want a repeat of this so I’m hoping someone might be able identify it and explain what I need to look out for when purchasing a replacement.
thanks in advance
