Looking to put some new wheels on

Hi,

I am looking to put some new wheels on my car.

Just wondering if anyone has had any luck with the A4 17inch j7.5 rims. Want to pair them up to some 235 45/40 tyres.

I have a 1.9 tdi 2006 A3 SE.

You could easily fit 18" , i have A4 DTM 10 spoke alloys on mine which are 18x225x40

Iirc 8" but dont quote me as they could be 7.5 , look up A4 DTM wheel sizes
