Green moss /algae

Hi,
I have green algae type stuff along my window rubbers, I’ve cleaned the car this morning and rubbed the trim with the noodle sponge but can’t get it all off

many suggestions of how to remove and then what is best to get it back to looking black ?

Tooth brush and car shampoo?

It may stink but bleach is great for clearing algae and moss

Or cillit bang mold remover spray then wash thoroughly.
You need to kill the spores with a bleachy type of solution, otherwise it's just going to return.
A tiny bit of tyre dressing after will get them all black again

Whatever you remove the Algae with is going to discolour the rubber even more and all the dressings you'll use bar one will be removed after a snow foam/wash....best dressing for any rubber on a car is Swissvax Seal Feed

Think I’ll start off with the neat shampoo and a soft brush and go from there !

then apply some good rubber coat!

starting to plan the jobs for when the virus closes the garage I work at !

I can see both mine and the wife’s car getting an even deeper clean from top to bottom !

need to decide which qd to get for keeping it good afterwards

That may achieve short term results, but seriously, the spores need to be killed.
Chuck in a cap full of bleach at least while doing the rubbers.
Maybe do that first, then wash your car using shampoo after.
Or it will return

I get the same problem on the camper van and fairly liquid does the job with a tooth brush followed by what @jassyo06 said
