S4 B8 Front Fog Grille with extra hole

Looking at various B8 S4s a the moment and see that a few seem to have a hole in the fog grille, and others don't. Is this an intake hole?

That's the automatic cruise control radar sensor.

Yep, adaptive cruise sensor. Lane assist is a camera above the rain sensor at the top of the screen.
