The general consensus seems to be that is resembles Lisa Simpson blowing more than her saxophone.

What on earth is wrong with a nation that can't or won't come up with some sort of emblem that conjures up visions of sport and national pride and instead goes for an over designed nondescript dogs breakfast of a squiggle that would look more at home on the letterhead of some company called 'Paradigm' or 'Concentrati' or whatever some 12 year old design consultant reckons is cool at the moment. Twats. If someone hadn't had the vision to put 'London' and the five Olympic rings on it you'd have no ****** idea what it was.

Yeah that is a real pile of crap. It's already received widespread criticism in the press so there's every chance it'll be changed in time for the Games.

It'll be the only thing that is done in time for the Games!

What more can you expect from a Government that built a Millenium dome, meant to portray the history of our nation, but was in fact full of meaningless Politically Correct *****.........!!

PS
I've produced a huge number of turds with more artistic merit than that 'thing'!

What the shitting hell is that meant to be? Bright pink and yellow look so nice together as well.

Bunch of jokers..

This pathetic logo is indicative of the country in which we live; totally misguided, doesn't know what it is or what its meant to be.

absolute gash.

what kind of person GETS PAID FOR THAT UNCREATIVE RUBBISH.

I like this one from bbc.co.uk:

Over-paid, under-talented, pretentious 'designers' trying to be abstract, cool and hip but failing miserably. Our stupid Olympic committee is just as bad. Why didn't they just have an official website where anybody could send in idea's, would have cost of fraction of the £400k spent and absolutely would have ended up with something far, far more appealing!

These are two of my favorites taken from the BBC website:
