Scratched carbon fibre mirror cap :(

Managed to scuff the carbon fibre mirror cap today, it's not bad but I wondered if anyone had a solution to getting rid of the scrape on the clear coating? Pic below:

Try a filler polish like autoglym super resin or radiant wax. Should cover up most of it.

That should polish out, do you have a machine polisher ? If not you can buy a kit that fits a drill but have to be carful.

Don't have a machine polisher, I got a fluffy drill bit which I used on my exhaust so it's black now

Elbow grease is a safer bet, I reckon.

The top layer of carbon fiber is called gel coat, it's basically hard resin, just use any scratch remover plus elbow grease and it will comes right out.
