S3 1.8t oil sludge issue

I recently just brought a s3 8l a few weeks ago and was worried about the oil sludge issue.
The cars recently had an oil change.
I checked in the oil filler and it's all black.
What's the best way to solve the sludge issue ? I haven't got the low pressure oil light up but I'd rather get it sorted before it gets worse

Take the sump of and install a new pick up pipe there only about £15-£20 so you might aswell change it instead of just cleaning the old one. Give the sump.a good clean when of aswell and all should be good.

What about the top of the engine where the oil filler is though?
What's the best gasket sealant for the sump ?
I guess I should stay away from engine flushes and terrace cleans

I think all the stuff that's the problem is the pick up pipe. Have never used the engine flushes so can say if there good or not. When mine was done I just got sump gasket sealant from euro car parts not sure on the name.
