Genuine Audi Rubber Boot Liner/Cargo Net.

Have you done the '' cut outs'' in the boot liner so you can use the cargo net with it or do you remove the liner & use the net that way?.
I don't see the point of putting holes in to a water proof liner ? .

What is the point of cargo nets? Does anyone actually use them? Why?

.......i've used it a couple of times to stop small objects getting shoved around the boot.
