AUDI A3 8V 2013

Hello, I have a a3 that has developed a know when i put the car in reverse and move off,a few time i have difficulty getting the car into reverse gear,and at times the gear stick springs up with a slight knock,i have the car going into my mechanic on Tuesday for a service ,has anyone any idea on this Please .

If it's the same set up as the S3 it requires a gear cable adjustment. Had mine done by Audi. Sorted out all your described issues.

Leebr ,you were correct , got the cable adjusted and no more knocking and gear change is more smooth, so a BIG THANK YOU .
