For sale is our much loved 2009 Audi A6 Avant Le Mans with black pack. This is the 3.0 V6 TDi version with 245Bhp standard and the superior Tiptronic gearbox with steering wheel paddles. Top spec colour dash and satnav with visual rear parking system and DAB radio, DVD player and SD card inputs with music storage. Xenon headlights, LED front running lights and full LED rear lights.

We purchased this car almost 2 years ago for me to commute 120 miles a day, which it did admirably! The only reason the Audi is for sale, I have changed job a have a company car which is also an estate, so the Audi is now surplus.

The car had a full-service history when I purchased it and has been fully maintained by myself since. I have receipts for all services and work carried out in my ownership along with a service book for all previous services. All service items have been genuine parts or top-quality aftermarket items. I have personally maintained the car, as I do with all of my vehicles as I am a fully qualified technician (CV available).

The car has had a blended remap, which was done for a mix of economy and performance which it does perfectly and is quite capable of achieving 45mpg on a decent run, power increased from 245 to 285 Bhp and torque was raised to 410 lbs/ft. I also ran on premium diesel fuel from BP or Shell ( better economy and performance). Recently MOTd, and a pair of front tyres fitted along with an alignment as I wasn’t happy with the tyre wear on the shoulders. Rears were new last year and are still like new.

I have just done an oil/inspection service which I carry out every 6 months and a health check for any fault codes, none present (using Audi diagnostic tool). Rear pads and discs were replaced when I purchased the car and still have 90% remaining, front pads were replaced last year and have more than 90% left.

When I purchased the car, I did a full service, this included a genuine service kit at extortionate cost for the gearbox along with the correct transmission oil and procedure adhered to. I also replaced the thermostat and coolant as these engines are notorious for running cold due to a stuck thermostat resulting in poor economy and performance.

I would happily drive this car anywhere as it is so effortless and with the remap, surprisingly quick if you want it to be! In the snow nothing comes close, even Land Rover products which we have had before. I will gladly show any prospective buyer any areas they wish to see, even an inspection on a ramp if required, but there is nothing to see!

There are two areas of note on the body. The OSF bumper has damage around the fog light (pictured) which I was quoted £300 for a new bumper sprayed and fitted. Also, on the OSR bumper (pictured) where some kind soul has caught the paint, not bad but stands out when the rest of the car is so clean which I was also quoted by a smart repair at £60. Obviously with any car that has done this sort of mileage there are other small marks, but no dents or nasty corrosion underneath. I can arrange for a ramp to view the underside, but I have just been underneath to service it and it is as clean as a new car still!

I have priced it sensibly given the specification, mechanical condition, and bodywork. Don’t let the mileage put you off, I firmly believe this v6 engine is the best Audi has ever made and will easily do another 172000 miles! Mileage may increase slightly as it is still taxed and insured.

Any questions please ask.
